R H Jandebeur, longtime poultryman at the North Platte Experimental Substation, announces his resignation to establish a baby chick hatchery in North Platte. He plans a downtown location, will hatch eggs and chicks, process surplus eggs in off season, and serve local markets first. He expects to open with the 1923 hatchery season.

Lincoln County Farmer Files for Legislature Seat
A. J. Tracy, a Lincoln county farmer living northwest of the city, filed Saturday for the state House of Representatives. With Lincoln county now entitled to two members, he chose to run from a district outside North Platte after B. S. Davis filed there. Tracy, a long time Western Nebraska resident, will run on the Republican ticket.

Engineers' Annual May Party Draws Large Crowd at Lloyd Opera House

Two hundred Rotarians Ladies and employees attended a dinner at the Presbyterian church last evening. Each Rotarian could invite business associates and employees. R. D. The Brotherhood of American Yeomen plans a four million dollar national home for aged and orphan dependents. North Platte is promoted for its central location, healthful climate, and strong transport links including the Union Pacific railroad and Lincoln Highway. Officials will visit Des Moines to evaluate the site and invite the committee to inspect North Platte.
