March Blizzard Grips Banana Belt With Four Inch Snow
A Sunday blizzard raged for about four hours in the Banana Belt. Showflakes fell swiftly for an hour making houses nearly invisible. Temperatures stayed near the freezing point, with a late evening dip. Snowfall measured about four inches and the moisture was welcomed.
Man Charged With Child Stealing Faces Brady Court
Thor. $. Carr was brought to town on a child stealing charge after attempting to take his own child from Brady. The child had been placed with Mr. and Mrs. Heaatand by order of Judge Grimes. Carr, previously residing in Cozad, was arrested near Brady and arraigned with bond set for the next court term. Casper Raasel of Walker precinct furnished bail.

Automobile Troubles Near Sutherland Aboard a Car
Sunday morning at five Adam Hoateen left Sutherland for Wellfleet with a passenger. Ten miles south he broke down and phoned Joe Fillion. Fillion broke down, phoned Ogier, who retrieved Hoatson's passenger. Platt White and his Kiesel car then brought in the Fillion car, arriving home at noon as a fierce storm peaked.
