Miss Bess Ebright daughter of Mr and Mrs William Ebright married Homer Mylander of Goodrich Colorado Tuesday night at nine officiated by Rev Harmon from the Lutheran church. After a wedding supper the couple left for Goodrich their future home. Mrs Mylander has lived near North Platte since infancy taught in the south part of the county for three years. Mr Mylander son of Claus Mylander resided on a ranch southeast of town and more recently on a Colorado farm where he prospered.

The 1909 personal tax list shows Hooker precinct paying in full with no delinquents. Several precincts have only one or two delinquent taxpayers. First ward of N reports 15 atap rate totaling 72 dollars, Second ward 16 owing 162, Third ward 35 owing 199. some delinquents are Japs. Treasurer Langford cautions ongoing vigilance to avoid further delinquencies.
