Nichols School Literary Society entertains many visitors
A large crowd estimated between 500 and 1000 attended the Nichole Literary Society meeting at the Nichole school house on St. Patrick's night. The Hershey band, editor Rasmussen, Mildred Skinne readings, a Platte Valley negro sketch, recitations, dialogs, songs, and instrumental pieces filled the program almost to midnight. Roy Spurrier chaired with several assistants as the Bignell Community Club joined in, wearing green badges. two kinds of cake and coffee were served.
