Boiler Explosion Kills About Thirty in San Antonio
An explosion of a locomotive boiler at the Southern Pacific roundhouse in San Antonio Texas today killed about thirty people most of them strike breakers who had filled in for striking shopmen. Dozens more were injured as the roundhouse copper shops and adjacent buildings were wrecked and debris buried workers amid collapsing walls.
