The North Platte Automobile Association announced an auto show to run Thursday through Saturday April 10 11 and 12 at the Lloyd Opera House. Thirty five cars can be displayed with models from local dealers and a truck exhibit. committees were formed for preparations.
Art Nellis of North Platte and Ben Guida of Peels, champion wrestler of northeastern Colorado, will contest a finished match this evening in the hall of the firemen's building. A large crowd is expected for what promises to be an exciting event.

War Mothers of Lincoln County hosted sixty plus returning servicemen at the Masonic hall with a chicken supper and desserts. Lieut Geo N Gibbs acted as toastmaster as veterans shared camp and front line stories. The evening closed with warm thanks to the hosting group.

North Platte community mourns Charley Tighe longtime Rexall manager and North Platte Drug Co stockholder who died at seven this morning after a two week bronchial pneumonia illness. He was educated as a pharmacist and led his stores to success, survived by his wife and relatives with funeral arrangements being noted.
