Union meeting of city brotherhoods set for March 16
A union meeting of the committees of the men's brotherhoods in the city will be held Monday evening March 16 at the Presbyterian church. Ten men from each brotherhood will investigate city election issues and discuss them publicly. The meeting was postponed previously due to a lecture at the Methodist church.

New irrigation well tested at Paxton sub station
F S Bible of Paxton supervised an experimental irrigation well near the new office. A six foot diameter hole connected to water 20 feet below. A 28 foot bedrock casing and double inner casings were installed with perforations 70 percent. After gravel packing the outer casing was removed and a 470 gpm pump ran for an hour with limited drawdown. a No 6 output expected.
