The Local Scout Council launches The Junior Woodsmen a character building program for boys age eight to twelve. Led by Scout Executive Wm M Barriball Tribes the initiative emphasizes Indian lore patriotism drill games woodcraft and home duties with Sunday School attendance encouraged. Old Settler John Tighe Dies After Short Illness
John Tighe died at his home on 421 BE last night after a brief illness. He came to Baie more than forty years ago to work for the Union Pacific. The funeral is planned for Thursday morning with burial in North Platte Cemetery. He was a well known elder resident with a large circle of acquaintances.
