Kinkaider Shot In Garden County Trespass Incident

Oshkosh Bee report states William Fiesterman was fatally shot by Jack Ferguson during a trespass dispute while hauling hay on Ferguson’s land. Both men were Kinkaid homesteaders living 35 miles northeast of Oshkosh in Garden county. The wound appeared from a large caliber rifle.

New Union Pacific Station Agent Appointed At North Platte

Frank T. Redmond, long time cashier, was installed as station agent after F. E. Bullard was dropped from the payroll. His permanent status remains undecided, but his extensive experience at the freight house and trusted standing with North Platte residents support his promotion.
