February Weather Sets New Records for Rainfall
Last month recorded the highest moisture since the weather bureau began in 1875. The total rainfall was 1.61 inches, above the monthly average of 0.49 inches. The nearest February on record was 1.29 inches in 1908 and 1.38 inches in 1883. Excess precipitation since January 1 compared with the yearly average stands at 0.99 inches.

Kosbau Convicted in Soap Theft Trial at Court House
Henry Kosbau were tried Tuesday afternoon by jury on stealing a cake of soap from the toilet room at the court house. He was found guilty and fined plus costs totaling 32.95 dollars. He was given 24 hours to secure bond for the amount.
