Death of Mrs. Shaffer after birth of stillborn child
Mrs. John Shaffer died early Tuesday from blood poisoning after the stillborn birth on Sunday. She leaves five children and a husband. Services were held at the home Wednesday under the Daughters of Honor auspices, with burial in Wellfleet. She was daughter of pioneer John Greenwood of Medicine precinct.

Kelly Sentenced to Four Months for Perjury Case
John P. Kelly, on trial in federal court here for perjury linked to the disappearance of a cash register from U S Grocery Co where he was manager, was found guilty and given four months in Lincoln county jail by Judge Munger. Jury began deliberations at 10:30 Wednesday forenoon and returned verdict at ten o'clock that evening.

Jailbirds Wanted for Burglary in Lincoln
Dennis and Frank Wilson serving a short sentence in this city for petty larceny at the McNeel ranch are wanted in Lincoln for burglary. Upon completion of term here they will be taken there for trial after confirming with a fellow prisoner who alerted Sheriff Miltenberger. Lincoln police confirm the burglary warrant.
