Naturalization Granted to Three Foreign Born Residents
In district court Wednesday Judge Tewell issued certificates of naturalization to Herman Luschen Stapleton a subject of Germany to Jens Leonard Sommer Maxwell a citizen of Denmark and Charles Lierman Moorefield a subject of Germany. A fourth candidate for naturalization had gone to California. February just past there were nine licenses issued by Judge Woodhurst while in February a year ago there were twenty.

Temperatures ranged from 41 above to 4 below with one record of 35 below at North Platte. The month had 14 clear days, mostly cloudy or partly cloudy, and was generally a touch colder drier and clearer than typical February.
