Japanese Child Drowns in Tritgation Ditch West
After a nightlong search, the body of three year old Chyro Sakina was found at seven this morning in Tritgation ditch west. The child followed her father home and vanished in darkness. Funeral held yesterday at the Christian Church with community sympathy offered. Mr. J. W. Grannell, visiting, left today for Hastings.

Fire Destroys Car East of Town on Sunday Night
Sunday evening Floyd Passmore’s car burst into flames on the Lincoln High road east of town. The fire department smothered the blaze with a chemical hose. Insurance valued loss at 21,000. Funeral for H. Welch set for 10 a.m. at 1108 West Sixth Street, burial in Wellfleet cemetery. Mr and Mrs W J Taylor returned to Sutherland after business here.

The Scout Officers Training School will close its first term with a lecture on Boyology this Thursday and start a new term Monday March 7 at the Junior High School. The comprehensive course covers leadership organization administration supervision and social welfare work and is open to all North Platte Lincoln County Nebraska and American boys. The Local Council invites attendance and graduates ten lessons after this term. Attendance has risen from 15 to 30 students. Miss Benjie Parker formerly Supervising Nurse at Quigley Hospital left for London Ontario after visiting friends.
