George W Roberts Dies in Maxwell Lincoln county former commissioner dies after months long illness
George W. Roberts former Lincoln county commissioner died Saturday at 4 pm at his Maxwell area home after a months long illness from stomach trouble. Born in Massachusetts he came to Lincoln county in 1881. he farmed cattle with uncle Liam Plummer and was cousin to Arthur Plummer. He had resigned due to poor health and sought treatment in the Ikes country and Rochester with Drs Mayo and Kiros but recovered no health. Funeral was held yesterday at 1 pm from his home with many local residents in attendance.

English Billie Dies After Long Illness In North Platte
William Dickerson known as English Billie died yesterday at 1 30 PM at Mrs Pulver's hospital after years of dropsy. He lived with his stepson Charles A Robinson in the northwest part of town and had been ill for months. The funeral is set for tomorrow at 2 30 PM at the Episcopal church with Dean J J Bowker officiating. Burial will follow in North Platte cemetery.
