Death of Howard F. Jeffrey in this city today
Howard F. Jeffrey died at his home Sunday afternoon from enlargement of the heart and liver. Once an engineer on the Union Pacific, his health declined after returning from Chicamaugua Park two years ago. He was 39, born in Kennebunkport, Maine, and survived by his wife Ettan Stewart and two children. Funeral held at the Episcopal church this afternoon. He carried a $2000 life policy. He was a Knight Templar and former member of engineers and firemen unions.
