New Depot Assured By Union Pacific Officials
Union Pacific officials including Julius Krutchpnitta and Mohler visited North Platte for a depot plan approval. A two story brick depot costing about eighty five thousand dollars will include offices on the second floor and ticket and baggage rooms on the ground floor. Work may begin next spring with preliminary fall or winter preparations. Judge Van Orsdale of Washington, D. C., visiting for real estate and cattle interests, also spent Saturday en route to Cheyenne.

A well dressed man about thirty five shot himself during Friday night No. 4 near Sutherland. Sheriff Miltenberger and coroner said no inquest was needed. The note to his Swedish wife cited debts around 40 dollars. Carlson from Iron Mountain Michigan had money, a train ticket, and a Swedish note before his death.

Mrs. C. M. Fisher Dead at Gandy
Mrs. C. M. Fisher formerly of North Platte died Friday at her home six miles east of Gandy from paralysis. She came to North Platte in 1881 with David Cash's family, married C. M. Fisher in 1892, leaving a husband and two daughters aged fifteen and fourteen. Funeral Sunday in Gandy drew the village’s largest crowd, with Rev. J. W. Hill presiding at Presbyterian services. A Regal car party from New York to Frisco reported covering the distance in twelve days.
