At a Friday meeting the Lincoln County Fair Association appointed a five member Executive Committee to run this fall events. They authorized 6000 in stock at 50 per share to fund improvements and wider patron access. Plans include relocating exhibition buildings and grandstand, grading Popint Street access, and adding entrances to ease traffic. George Mang offers lumber from the Tabernacle to aid Camp projects. Reverend Koch postpones vacation. Mrs. Gates and son Everrett depart for Chicago to visit Dan Valerius.

Irrigation Plan Progress Highlighted by Congressman Kinkaid
Congressman M P Kinkaid praised Reclamation Service irrigation projects after touring sites in Dawson County and the North Platte Valley. He outlined a bill to extend federal aid to dry lands and noted a 1 million dollar annual appropriation with current progress on 2 000 acres now irrigated and yielding strong crops. Future work would extend irrigation to 95 000 acres and reach Lincoln County with Bridgeport targeted this year.
