Pleads Guilty to Forgery in North Platte
Virgil Root aged twenty, a North Platte resident, was arrested Friday for forgery and pleaded guilty. He bought about thirty five dollars of clothing at The Leader on July 1 with three checks drawn on a Brady bank in the name of J H McCauley. Checks were returned as forgeries. Root was arrested at the Seeley place and bound over to district court after pleading guilty.
