Masons Banquet Honors Grand Custodian Visit
Viatte Valley lodge No 2 A F and A M held a banquet Wednesday evening in honor of M W Or and Monter Thomas and Davis as Grand Custodian. About fifty two attended and the event included a meal at seven followed by degree work. The first degree gray was conferred on Carl Runner of the Morshey vicinity. Edwin C Smith Dies After Illness In City
Edwin C Smith a longtime resident of the fourth ward died Wednesday evening from paralysia after a long illness. He was fifty two years one month old born in New York State June 8 186? He lived here since childhood working as a laborer and leaves a wife and one son in this city and several other children. The body will be shipped to Sedgewick Colorado for burial where he formerly lived.
