L Patterson Dies in Long Beach Area
Railroad man C L Patterson, aged sixty one, died in Long Beach yesterday after a months long illness. Remains to be brought to North Platte for burial with brothers T C Patterson and Cochran Patterson in California. He once served as chief of the Union Pacific secret service in Denver and moved there from North Platte in the early 1870s.
