Charles F Iddings longtime North Platte business leader died at his home at two this morning after seven years of mental incapacity. He came from Warren Ohio in 1878 to Sidney then North Platte where he and David Cash ran the Pacific Hotel and later built a vast coal lumber flour and elevator network. He served as a Republican leader and presidential elector and helped develop western Nebraska. Survived by wife two daughters two sons. funeral 2:30 Sunday at the home.
