Firemen Bring State Convention to North Platte
Twenty two tired volunteer firemen arrived on an early train after a week in Norfolk for a state convention. A second ballot approved hosting by North Platte with George Wilkins orchestrating the bid. Nearly a thousand firemen attended a banquet as the event drew praise for hotel service and turnout.

Stockholders of the Fidelity Reserve Company elected officers and a new board member at the annual meeting held last Tuesday. A. B. Hoagland filled the vacancy created by Dr. Baker, joining J. J. Halligan W. W. Hoagland C. F. Spencer and F. L. Temple. Officers re-elected: F. L. Temple president F. Plelsticker vice president Keith Neville vice president C. F. Spencer treasurer A. B.
