Old Soldier Missing After Train Transfer
Alex Elisten a 62 year old Civil War veteran from Sidney disappeared after being sent to the Soldier's Home at Grand Island. He left the train at Kearney on the night of the 12th, was found semi conscious by Chief of Police Trindle, and was placed back on a train toward Grand Island, where he was last seen and did not reach the home.
