Frank Park Ends Life With Shotgun

Postmaster McEvoy Dies After Illness in North Platte
Patrick H. McEvoy a Sioux campaigns veteran and Union Pacific foreman who served as North Platte postmaster since 1916 died at his West Sixth Street home after a four month illness stomach trouble and mental exhaustion. He was born in 1855 in Maine enlisted in 1875 served with the Fifth Cavalry guarding frontier posts and Indian campaigns. He leaves ten children and was a member of the Elks Knights of Columbus Fraternal Union and the Myatic Legion. Funeral plans likely at St Patrick's Church and arrangements pending.

Sacred Concert at St Patrick's Church Next Week
