Lincoln County Poultry and Pet Stock Show Opens Amid Large Exhibits
The Lincoln County Poultry and Pet Stock Association opened a show with over eight hundred chickens and many other fowl and pet stock, drawing more than two thousand visitors. Exhibits include chickens canaries pheasants pigeons guineas ducks geese dogs guinea pigs and goldfish. The event runs through tomorrow with judging continuing today. C W Bréahm of Harvard serves as judge. premiums attract many with one cash prize donated by a local citizen. Admission is free and the room formerly occupied by Mackay dry goods hosts the displays. Standing room was scarce yesterday and more attendees are expected today.

Dies From Operation On Mrs Davis In Stapleton
Mrs J H Davis of Stapleton died in this city last night after an operation performed yesterday morning. The body will be shipped to Stapleton for burial. Her husband was with her and will return with the body. She arrived in critical condition and underwent surgery with little prior chance of recovery. although she initially improved, the shock proved fatal.
