Platte Valley Poultry Exhibition Set Near Post Office

Edmiston Thos Orton H C Hartman of North Platte and Mr Larson of Wellfleet to the Grand Island Progressive party mass convention where the name Progressive was chosen after a long ballot. The Metropolitan Coffee House on East Front Street was raided Saturday evening and twenty five men arrested for gambling. Nick Frickers fined $24.80 for operating a gambling house and twenty four men fined $9.80 for participating in a game. Among those arrested were Mexicans Greeks colored men and four white men.
