Lincoln County Events Include Legion Play Delay and Farm Speaker
The American Legion play causes a deferment of the Chamber of Commerce band concert until Thursday evening with the remainder set for Friday in Court House Park. N. W. Gaines of the Nobrughearm Bureau Federation will visit Lincoln County for three days on Sept 15-16, visiting Bignell on the 16th. He will speak on Farm Bureau work and privileges. The Tri-County Surrey School convention will draw the North Platte delegation and others, with about two thousand expected for favorable weather. Albert Schnatz and Jian Herrod are noted local figures, while ex-service members discuss land opportunities in Wyoming’s Laramie District, with Ernest Rineker and Cecil Cool among those touring for information.

The Lincoln County Stock judging team leaves for Lincoln on Thursday to compete at the state fair with plans to practice at the State Farm Friday and Saturday. Mrs Joseph Johinson, aged 54, died at her home fourteen miles south of the city at Jack Morrow Flats. She leaves behind her husband and eleven children. Funeral arrangements have not been made.

Mrs A A Hotchkiss Dies in Denver Sanatorium
The body of Mrs A A Hotchkiss formerly Helen Minshall of this city arrived today from Denver. She died in a Denver sanitarium Sunday and will be interred here with funeral services at four this afternoon from the Lutheran church. She spent her girlhood in this city and leaves a husband and parents in mourning.
