Cheyenne Man Arrested In Stabbing Case At Cary Avenue
Cheyenne Car assistant superintendent Neil Rowell was arrested after a stabbing of Union Pacific fireman John Weinberger on Cary avenue. Weinberger, from North Platte, died last night at a local hospital. Rowell says Weinberger attacked him as he walked with waitress Luella Smith. Smith supports Rowell's claim and did not see a knife used. Weinberger had refused to file a complaint. Rowell was released after police learned the facts. local telegram reports Weinberger’s death last night.
