Fire destroys barn on Haspel farm west of town
A large barn at Albert Haspel’s disty farm two miles west of town burned fore noon Wednesday. No livestock lost, but harness, stable gear, and farm implements were consumed. The barn cost about two thousand dollars. a granary near it was partly burned. Insurance of 1100 dollars will cover about half the loss. Origin unknown. Haspel suspects a tramp sleeping in the barn started the fire with matches.
