KE. A. Calling and Doc Bird of Gothenburg bought 100 head of cattle from the Facka boys and others in town Friday and Saturday. They shipped the stock Sunday and will return in a few days to buy more at satisfactory prices.

Transcontinental Travelers Reach Town on Wager
Mr and Mrs David MacFayden arrived in town en route from Coney Inland New York to San Francisco on a two thousand dollar wager. They travel in a wagon drawn by four mules carrying camp gear and clothes. MacFayden cannot ride under contract. a guardian accompanies the outfit to enforce the terms. The pair fund expenses by singing and collecting and selling cards.

Will Lane Seriously Hurt In Horse Accident
Will Lane a well known farmer of Myrtle precinct was kicked by a horse Saturday forenoon at Besack barn in this city. He suffered a badly cut and bruised left face and a severely injured left arm requiring a sling. The jaw and arm were initially feared broken but were later found only badly cut and bruised. The injuries will keep him from work for some time.

Destructive Hail Storm Hits Lincoln County
A Friday hailstorm swept a fifteen mile wide track across Lincoln county causing severe damage east of Moran canyon. Cornfields and alfalfa were ripped, windows shattered, and a roof perforated like a sieve. Hailstones eight inches in circumference shattered crops and killed livestock while Spurrier farm lost hundreds of bushels of apples and damaged neighboring fields.
