Sunday brought four fire alarms in the yard area. Grass near Standard Oil tanks burned but was put out by A B Hoagland and others. The Frank Kemp house beside the new round house burned despite efforts, with Kemp saving much furniture. A pile of railroad ties caught fire but was quickly subdued. A fourth alarm proved false with no locateable fire.
