A. M. Locke plans a 66 by 120 foot brick and hollow tile structure on Locust street to replace recently burned buildings. Plans expected by Saturday, bids to follow. two local firms poised to lease space totaling 66 feet for five years. City Sells Paying Bonds in Regular Session
City council met Tuesday evening and sold the intersection paying bonds to the state treasurer for 16000 par. Current bills and first paying budget estimate for 3200 were approved. Chamber rep W K R Maloney asked to relocate hitching posts from Fifth Street to a convenient site for farmers, a request granted and to be acted on promptly.

State editors to visit North Platte Friday

Brady Windlner reports Marshal Elliott arrested two speeders on Main Street Saturday night. Mayor Dart fined one offender ten dollars plus costs and Judge Ritenour suggested the same amount for the other. Each paid thirteen dollars and five cents to the village treasury. The Royal Neighbors announce a regular K P hall meeting on Wednesday at eight o'clock with initiation and a lunch by Mesdames Moore, Davis and Johnson. Also a Wanted ad seeks a girl for general housework at Experimental station, phone 409.
