Troop Trains Served by North Platte Red Cross Canteen
Six troop trains have passed this week with about 600 men per train. Five trains were served by the North Platte Red Cross Canteen offering coffee sandwiches cigarettes post cards and magazines. Two canteen companies of ten members each worked per train supervised by Commandant Mrs Bogue and Assistant Commandant Mrs Hosler. Canteen operations started at six attended by seven. Last month’s operating expenses were just over two hundred dollars.

Enlist as Nurses For Lincoln County Women
