Street Repairs Halted Due to Treasury Shortfall
The city’s street work is suspended as funds are scarce. Street Commissioner Salisbury will focus on keeping business streets clear of rubbish while any street dragging or other work would come from his own pocket. Last year about $3,200 was spent. this year funding is expected to be very limited.
