An explosion at the Emporium powder mill two miles from Emporium Pennsylvania killed six men, including three Americans Charles Eckles James Thomas and William Moran and three Italian laborers. The mixing house was destroyed and 1000 pounds of dynamite involved. The cause remains unknown.
