In Creighton Nebraska a man and wife, William and Mrs. Elliott, died when driving home from Center and their vehicle plunged from a bridge into a deep washout seven feet deep. Their eight year old daughter Nina Elliott survived by clinging to a tree limb and climbing to safety, though she is in serious condition from exposure.

Snake bite cures cancer in New York farmer’s wife
Mrs. Wilhelmina Lodwig of Port Jarvis is believed cured after a rattlesnake bite. The cancer on her left leg swollen to an enormous size, turned into a running sore, discharged for four days, then began to heal as snake venom affected the cancer. She was near full recovery after the wound started to heal.
