Oklahoma stock 18 marketed by co op
Oklahoma livestock men market through the Producers Commission Association in Oklahoma City. Manager G A Gaumnitz says members gain 25 to 75 cents per hundred for pigs by cutting middlemen. The plan reduces handling and keeps more of the consumer’s dollar with producers. Hundreds have joined, and 6 to 11 percent of city stock is consigned to the cooperative. No membership fee is required.
