Garrett Post and W R C and citizens of Newton honor the dead with a Memorial Day program at Union Cemetery. The sermon will be at the Lutheran church by Rev Sumner T Martin. Judge Winslow delivers the main address. Post assemble at 1:50 pm at G A R Hall and march to the cemetery in formal order. Graves to be decorated by Garrett Post No 15 and W R C No 3 with a long list of names and units from 13th Ia to 107th Nv Inf and others, detailing soldiers and decorations by each group.
