The city’s social highlight last week was the March 12 wedding at Mr. and Mrs. W. C. Bergman’s East Main home. Bride Gussie Painter and groom H L Wilson, son of Mrs. Gen. James Wilson, were joined in ceremony by Rev. J. C. Wilkits with about 130 guests. Gifts included a $200 check from the groom’s father and a $50 from Mrs. Gen. Wilson. The couple will reside north of the depot and begin housekeeping as a married pair.

Death of Robert Hook Kellogg Citizen Passes Away
Robert Hook a well known Kellogg resident died last Monday March 17 at his daughter's home near Kellogg aged about seventy three. He formerly lived at De Soto and moved to Jasper county years ago. His son William Hook a Denver businessman arrived for the funeral. Sheriff Charles H Hook a cousin accompanied by his family attended the services held at the Tomlinson home yesterday afternoon.
