Brunner surprise tea party honors a birthday
Mrs Brunner hosted a sly dinner party for about thirty five male friends to celebrate her husband John G Brunner. The plan included a staged distraction to draw him away and the guests greeted him warmly when he returned to a lavish meal. Gifts followed with a cut glass water service presented to the surprised host. Meanwhile directory intrigue and a shooting incident surfaced in Newton.
