Maryland Democrats Charge Beall in $15000 Buy Line
Maryland Democrats allege GOP Senator Beall tried to buy county support with 15000 dollars and accuse rival D'Alesandro of exposing a scheme. The remarks cite Rose, Anne Arundel County, and a broader scramble over Alaska Hawaii statehood amid Baltimore area politics. Zoo closures in Washington follow a fatal May incident prompting safety upgrades at four houses.
