Noted Frederick murder shocks small town in 1970s
In June 1974 Frederick Maryland, 74 year old Anna Margaret Myers known as Mummy, wife of a retired bank president, was sexually assaulted and beaten in an affluent neighborhood. A longtime church member and animal lover, she followed a routine including walking her dog and attending Mass. The case is part of an eight part series on unsolved murders in the county.
