Nine-vehicle crash stalls Beltway outer loop near Rockville
At 1 270 and the Capital Beltway outer loop in Rockville nine vehicles including a tanker truck piled up Monday around 10 45 a m. No serious injuries were reported. Trooper Richard Livic halted to inspect a broken down vehicle when the tractor trailer lost control and struck a van, ricocheted off the Jersey barrier, and partly suspended from the bridge as five additional vehicles collided trying to avoid the crash.
