Siskind Says He Purchased Boyle Cases
Washington lawyer Max Siskind admits he bought 23 government cases from former Democratic chairman William M. Boyle Jr. in 1949 for 150000 with no written agreement. He says Boyle had no involvement and he still owes about 50000. Senate panel plans to call Boyle as a witness while Siskind defends his rights and seeks to avoid harming clients. An earlier settlement required release of the list of clients. Divorces granted in Equity Court include Wilbur and Agnes Toms and Mary and Oscar Baugher.
