Sunday drew larger crowds to two town festivals than Saturday as rain eased. Brunswick Railroad Renaissance Festival canceled outdoor events Saturday at 3 pm while Sunday attendance reached about 2000, boosting weekend totals toward the 3000 projection and topping last year by roughly 1000. In New Market rain limited Friday attendance with 10 000 visitors over three days, though Saturday and Sunday saw rises as vendors reported shortages of food by day’s end.
