Roger Aumen a nineteen year old Woodsboro youth pleaded guilty to larceny of seven cases of eggs to fund a down payment on a small touring car. He had saved about 190 dollars, worked for Harvey Working, and later earned wages in Harrisburg. The court suspended sentence, warning that future trouble would trigger execution of the term. Chicago Sept 25 The drastic temporary injunction sought by Attorney General Daugherty against shop craft strike leaders was enforced today by Judge Wilkerson with minor word changes to clarify its meaning. Bank Cashier Shot In Robbery Attempt At Hopedale
George Whittaker cashier of the First National Bank at Hopedale Ohio was shot and likely fatally wounded by a gunman in a five man gang attempting a daytime robbery.
