Charles Raymond Colbert 47 of Baltimore and an engineer for the Baltimore and Ohio Railroad died at Frederick City Hospital at 3:30 AM from a heart attack following a work accident on the line between Watersville and Ridgeville. He had been injured September 3 while oiling a locomotive drive shaft, leading to leg amputation attempts and hospitalization. Survived by widow Edith G. Colbert, sisters E Roy Nikirk, Pearl, Irving Brashear, Mary, and half brothers Alvah Wolfe of Baltimore and William Wolfe of near Damascus. Funeral from his Baltimore home Tuesday afternoon at 1 PM, services at Marvin Chapel Church Plane No. 4, interment at cemetery adjoining. M. K. Etchison f and Son, funeral directors.
