Travanti returns to TV with Missing Persons and more
Dartiel J. Travanti, once wary of new series after Hill Street Blues, returns to screens with two television movies and ABCs Missing Persons. Filmed in Chicago, the drama follows a police lieutenant overseeing missing persons cases and pairs Travanti with Jon Van Ark and others while he also headlines NBCs In the Shadows Someone’s Watching and stars in My Name Is Kate. He emphasizes savoring good roles over prestige and notes sobriety and theater as his true passions.
