Optimist Club pushes Safeway lot as city parking plan
Frederick Optimist Club delegation urged the mayor and board to acquire the East All Saints Safeway lot, a two acre site that could park 600 to 900 cars without attendants and fund club work for boys. The plan faces opposition from area property owners and the city will study it, while other actions include Halloween budget increase and multiple public works bids.
