Important For Transportation To Hold Up During Wartime
C Vernon Fhonas a special representative of the Baltimore and Ohio Railroad Company spoke to the Kiwanis Club at the Francis Scott Key hotel about railroads behind the war effort. He warned that without reliable transport production fails and that railroads form a primary support for military movements. He cited increased traffic since the war began and explained measures to prevent breakdowns and ensure prompt unloading.
